In the event of change...

With all these complaints about how planets are...
If Forum, in his infinite wisdom decides to make things like weapon prices constant, or the bonuses from planets greater... Or any other change for that matter...
do those of us who have unloaded naq by the billions get reimbursed for our purchases?
i.e.
weapon prices increase by planet size
if the price becomes constant.. everyone who paid the increasing price gets jipped out of money that they spent upgrading weapons on the larger planet... or will their weapon amount increase to fit the new price?
i.e.
you spend billions of naq increasing the naq income of your planet... then forums decides to increase the amount of naq a day yhat you get per purchase...
do the people get jipped out of that naq? or will thier incomes shift accordingly?
Should we be reimbursed in the event of change?
Yes, I understand taht i'd be a hell of a lot of work... but I think that we should be. What are your opinions on the matter?

they shouldn't.
The reason being, that the upgrades purchased were purchased knowing the conditions, with no warranty or ability to return.
Many upgrades change the face of the game, and this should be no different.
If you are concerned that upgrades will become cheaper, then don't buy them.
Pretty simple concept.

It's like any new feature, it comes out, bugs are worked out, early adopters are screwed.

Sometimes... and sometimes early adopters get huge advantages.

Agreed!!!
Why should forum bother, damm, always complaints at the start.
Does Fenrir Oorgata and other like him think forum has thousands of hours to pour thru every transaction? It has been known for a while now that there is NO DEFENCE THAT CAN'T BE CRACKED!!!
And everyone thinks that if they spend a few billion that their planet is going to be safe. Doesn't take too much intelligence to realize you should probably wait to build defence especially with many post from players with over a billion attack.
It is a free game and only a game, if you want to be recompensated for the Naq etc.. you lost then why not buy it back from Forum instead of whining and asking him to spend more of his time searching to recompensate the people who chose to act early and poorly.

I already acknowledged in my original post aht it would take Forum a long time to do it... I know that... but generally testers get rewarded when a new project comes out successfully... they get a copy of the product... now in this case... dont you think that he beta testers of the new update should at loeast be entitlted to fair gameplay when it comes to how thier res. are spent?

You already did... and if the benefits are changed, then the new round of testers will get their's... point is, with any update, there is always risk involved, and the old rule goes, if you can't afford the risk, then don't take it.

There was a beta test for a little while posted.
Forum asked all to go there and test it. Since only a limited number did, many bugs got worked, but not all the effects of game play.
Now Forum is fine tuning it based on the Players Request. He could just leave it this way. To ask that he change settings then search for those that may of been effected negatively would be a lot of work.
I don't belive anyone here wants another Reset.
