G&R - Too Easy?

I'm in the process of rebuilding before my next Ascension. The time came to start climbing the ranks, so that I could start to gather G&R while I rebuild (saving time). How shocked was I to discover that I'm earning Glory Points in the top thousand?

I'm not complaining, because it will make Ascending again that much easier... but a part of me says "wow, that was really easy", which I don't quite think is right when dealing with Ascension.

Anyone else got a similar feeling?

Well I usually go ahead and jump to the 5 per turn ranks, and I found that it was supprisingly easy to get there when I last went for some G&R. I was a little supprised. Actually more that just a little. But the new guys need to be able to ascend or ascension will never get any larger.

Its WAY too easy to ascend these days. Anybody with half decent stats can do it. Whatever happened to this being the esrver for the 'elite'. Bring back the top 100 rule I say (or something better than the current system)

Top 100 that arn't ascended. If you're ascended and in the top 100, then you still get G&R, but if you're unascended, top 100 unascended beings.

what about someone that wants to ascend a 7th or 8th time?

I think admin should take all the resources, specifically attack turns, from all of the inactive accounts, put them on the market, and then delete them. This would solve the problem of G&R, what to do with inactive accounts and turns on the market. (Only temporaily of course.)

you know how much work that is for admin I mean how do you know if they are inactive or just on vacation. Some people leave themself off vac mode because the uu they get is greater then the naq loses.

Then don't get the people on vacation mode.

To be honest I know next to nothing about computers so I relly don't know how much work that would be...

Let's say that A (inapproperate word) LOAD OF WORK. is an understatement. And yes, I did just censor myself.

A HUGE understatement. And on top of that, think of how many complaints he would get from people whose multies got deleted (not admitting that they're cheating of course, but claiming that they're friends' account or w/e). The point is, his email account would overload, permanently. This was considered as an option many months ago, when the number of accounts was 1/10 what it is now, and was rejected as unreasonable. Sorry.

and the simple fact that most newcomers to the game only get anywhere by farming the inactive accounts

besides i'd lose a lot o my UU farms hahaha :-D

as for G n R i think its way too low yeah, at the least i'd say top 500!! 1000 is just WAY too easy, plenty ppl managed to ascend when it was back at that sorta rank!! by continually lowering the ranks we're just gonna fill ascention up (even more) with inactive accounts!!

At this rate, some of my inactive farms are going to start getting G&R soon. That's just sad.

yep thats also the reason why i normally tend to stay in the top hundret. to keep noobs from ascending to fast. its far to easy. i ascended when you still had to be in the top houndret adn only the last ascension was when it was easier btu now top 1000 ascend is wrong. i think it hsould be at max top 500

When I finally decided to ascend, I aimed for the top 60 or whatever it was for 5p for G&R points per turn...

I was at rank 5000 or so at that moment and believed that it would cost REALLY much so I did one "statbuild" up to something I thaught would be close... and POFF, I wasn´t at rank 60.. but at rank 30..

Frist I was just "woow" "coool" than I realised that I´ve spent quite a lot of naq on nothing and wasn´t just as happy...

The next day I pushed 4 unascended officers up to 1p G&R...

So I do agree that ascension is WAY to easy...

I agree as well. When it was the top 100, you had to actually push to get into the -ascension ranks- I remember the closest I had gotten was 102
