Motherships being dealt devestating damage.

After recently being attacked by a noob who wanted his planet back (Both a siege for it, and a normal attack), I noticed in the attack log that his mothership had destroyed 6 shields of mine. I looked at the damage which his mothership dealt on me, and I was astounded. Just a little over 10% of my motherships defense, and 24% of my strike (On mothership).
This makes me wonder, how on earth did he destroy anything, if he was that much weaker then my mothership. This leads me to entertain the idea of motherships (Whilst defending) being able to deal devestating damage to the opposing mothership, if it is at least 40% stronger in defense AND attack of the opposing mothership.

maybe he was "enhanced" with his main force?

main force doesn't add to the ms, even though most of the top weapons are space capable

its a % formula thats coded in...maybe it just happened to pull out that formula? but honestly sounds like a rank modifier if a Nanovolley 10% of ur shield strength can break thru and hit ur Nanovolleys...

I figured it works out like losses. The more you have, the more you have to lose. Im not entirely sure tho

What im saying is, when your mothership is far more powerfull then the one it is facing, and it is being used for defense, it should be able to deal devastating damage to the attacking mothership.

Maybe the third time saying this will get lucky?
What I am saying, is that if your mothership is % more powerful then the attacking mothership, your mothership is dealt 0% damage.

i feel that if both sides have a mothership, only the attack power if above defence can really cause losses on a MS
e.g
'mothership a'
3bill attack
5bill defence
'mothership b'
8bill attack
10bill defence
'mothership a' being inferior would suffer damage to shields (and maybe weapons) for being so weak in comparison and 'mothership b' would suffer no damage (or only a very small percentage. maybe relative to the closeness off attack to defence of the two MS's. great the gulp less the damage)

no misquoting me >.< it depends on several factors:
1. Nanovolley's strength
2. Shield generator's strength
3. the power balance of volleys v. shields
4. to a small extent how many shields u hab

if u go into battle what do u think is gona happen there gona fight bak and there will be losses on both side while no as much or a little as people like it works dont question it its the law of everythink for every action there is opp and equal reaction, u throw a bomb in to a field battle ur men will get hurt to

i think it sud be possible to whip out a mothership..compleltly destroy it like..and have a log of ships u took out in battles or who won what battle between the motherships!
like another form of an attack log
