Are u ever going to fix it so we can bank the cash on are moblie phone. with this new code thing we cant even login now. it sucks

since when can you play TGW's on the phone?

i cant agree more, why strain your eyes to see the small screen? cant u wait and set it to critical?? they put it there for a reason.

what?! i thought it was all vocal, but you can use your little screen?
i use my PSP so go on the internet. but now it doesn't work.
cause i dropped it, and cracked the screen, then ink started oosing out.

Some people like to use their phones when they can't get to a PC - soemtimes setting on critical isn't enough.

Besides - you say it was put there for a reason - well I would like to know what the reason was for making the login code - it will NOT stop people logging in automatically because they can already create scripts to refresh the page once they are already logged in.

It was a crappy update.

it was put the coz when they were writing the scrips thy were addin in a number and the scrip was adding it in the box so it was banking it for them while they were off doing sumthik else i play a nother game and they were having that problem so it does help but the should be another things that sees ur loggin in on a mobile and takes that little part off and that would stop that little problem. coz when u get on the net from a phone or psp it sends out a code and the connects or sumthink like that hav a thing that sees the code and changes so that the little thing dont cum up .. i think that would stop that little problem


ooo and yes i know what im talking about since my dads one of the top coders in australia and he told me about it but i dont use the stuff as admin can tell......yay Admin......

You are way behind the curve on this one mate - it has already been proved that the code doesn't work - it can be read - therefore it can be input to login automatically - I know because one of my buddies created a script which reads and displays the code on a web-page so that it can be viewed on a mobile phone. The webpage then has a direct link to the stargatewars login page so you can enter your details. We have not released this however as we have not been authorised to (and could be used to abuse the system).

Bottom line - we know why it was introduced - it just doesn't stop anything right now - the login code does not work (at the moment - even admitted by the person who recommended it). And, just in case you missed it - the reason it doesn't work is because it can be read and input by creating another script.

Also - it can be easily got around by logging in and then creating a script that autorefreshes your page every five minutes - therefore keeping you permannetly logged in.

the codes how they are now displayed are easy for computer scripts to read and understand..........even the extremly annoying ones that are hard to even read are possible to read with advanced scripts........

im a computer programmer in real life, and what is being done now if it is to stop cheaters will not really stop the big cheaters but just make it take longer for me to login,,,,,,,,, maybe it will stop some little 14 year old from making a easy script, maybe it makes auto scripting harder, but it doesnt stop it from being used........

eitherway.........im all for making it as difficult as possible to cheat on this game keep it up forum

I've had a convo with forum this evening on this matter - he is now aware of the flaw in the current system.

But does anyone know how to make the code visible on a mobile phone??

if he made the code visable on most cell phones.......then it would be beyond easy to make a auto scripter......i know how to make it visable but it would make the whole code pointless because i could read what the number is from page easy with a script.......no extra work needed..........

the problem is many cell phones will not want to display images at all just text......some may show images some may not........if u make the code non-image it defeats the purpose.........


I KNOW THE SOLUTION THO it isnt the best thing but its something

make a sepaerate URL for phones that is only for BANKING nothing else........but it would make auto bankers even easier to make so i dont know u know..........there could be a limit to how much u could use this address a day or something maybe so it would be used limitedly......or something like that

i dont think there is a fix all answer to this problem

but wolf.....i will let this run in the back of my mind.......the whole image code thing and cell phones maybe something will come to me....i dont know

well - we had a script (lol) - that read the code and displayed it on a webpage, which also contained a link to the login page. This was to aid mobile users. But it doesn't work now since frum has improved the code.

About mobiles - my mobile will not display the code - but it displays all other images.....
