What does this mean?

I was going to explore for a new planet, but this message was where the explore option usually is:
'You have the maximum of 10 planets. You will need to abandon one to explore or fight for more.'
Ok, I understand that I can't explore, but if I fight for more, can I exceed ten planets?

That might be so, IF i was a newbie. I was just asking for clarification on the message. By the way it was worded, I assumed that you could get more planets.

Not saying ur a newbie, it just its a newbie question, thats been answered alot
Also in the Updates section in SGW
''The addition is a raw number, not a percent of anything else. Some items are limited based on planet size, which is also upgradable at an increasing cost. You can have 10 planets.''
It also says in your question
''You have the maximum of 10 planets''

Not a newbie. Then don't ask their questions in the wrong forums. Why don't we discuss the limits on newbdom on MSN.
