Protected Planets Treaty

I think it was on Friday that I put myself on the protected planets treaty. I cam back some time Saturday, and found that I had been attacked. I thought the protected planets treaty was 2 days. I figured well it must be only 1 day. Since then I have attacked people (dunno if that makes a difference or not), I did not attack anybody when I was on the PPT. I came back from lunch today to I find that I have the PPT for 126 minutes. As far as I know, I didn't do anything to get on the PPT again.
