I would appreciate it if SGW did not obstruct the internal funtions of my computer. Every time i login i lose the ability to Copy, paste. Therefore i lose anything i was saving on my clipboard. Loging in is a basic instict now and i don't even realize im doing it sometimes and POOF all my work on my clipboard is GONE!

Really, who is going to steal the homepage info to try and trick users in? Any educated user would know that http://www.stargatewar.com was the true URL and any other is false. And what do SGW clones do thats so bad other then make another game? Is this a monopoly forum is trying to accomplish?

I had to close 1/2 my browsers to copy paste this link into the chat!!!!!! and then my clipboard was clear and i had to go find the link again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

actually it uite cleverly stops scripts or hinders them at the very least generally you scan the code copy the numbers that came otu then input them if ya do that it doesnt owrk well there ya go , also you can paste just use crtl v like a norm,al person...

well from what i can decypher,

Anyone can download tools for FireFox to let them bypass that security measure. And who is going to create a script to login anyways?

The problem is if your using internet explorer and you have it open, it tottaly disables your clipboard completely. And i feel that it should have to ask my permission to disable something on my computer or access my clipboard

I am in total agreement with you here and it is shocking... I thought for a minute that my computer was F****** and to be honest it pissed me off... Especially since I was trying to log on at work and I NEED COPY & PASTE FOR WORK... Had to restart my computer to get it going again which cost me about 15 minutes worth of time which meant I missed my bus home cos I had to finish the work which means I had to get a taxi which cost me €18 so can I have my money back please???

Tell anyone who tries to use scripts that their IP will be banned if they are caught

Please switch it off Forum. I know you have an excellent reason for it but you are interfering with peoples computers.

well as far as i know the computer misuse act makes changing computer settings without the express permission of the user/owner illegal so you may be pushing the law a lil here forum if the login does do what these guys are saying.

Firstly, ctrl + v will not work once the javascript has disabled it and I agree with kit, this may fall under the computer misuse act in the UK as it may be seen as a malicious attack on the users computer.

I would see about removing that javascript as soon as possible if I was forum.

im sure that theres a law in the us about it too.

this is an extremely annoying addition. i started using the copy paste thing when the E-Mail verification glowed with that annoying yellow thing, which meant i had to high lite the text to ensure i entered it correctly, but now i can even highlite stuff in there any more and the lack of copy paste is extremely difficult to cope with, unless i go through the trouble of restarting my computer

I really dont know what all the fuss is about.

For those of you who are complaining of this function whilst accesing it from school or office environment. Are you there to play games or to get an education / work? To those of you who access this game from home, well not only does it state that you should use Firefox as you default browser for the game, it is a hell of a lot safer than IE. And not only that it makes it harder for Microsoft to look at what you use on your computer...

Firstly, I use FF, secondly, what if I wanted MS to see all the hentai I dig up?
