I think I got my first G and R roughly around 930, so should be round there.

its pretty easy to work out 
total players - unranked realms ---> 51338-528 = 50,810
then 2% is GnR range so........ 50,810*0.02 = 1016 (at time of posting)
which btw i think is a JOKE!!! lol 1016 is WAYYYY too easy

I started getting G&R at about rank 1016.

Please post appropriately - this does not belong in the General section - more appropriate for Newbie/FAQs - where there have already been a multitude of similar posts. At the end of the day - it is known that you need to be in the top 2% of the ranks - so it is not difficult to work out.

And for getting more than 1 G&R per turn...?

1000 to get GnR, wow it wasnt that simple to get it when i was ascending.

When I ascended it was around 350 but I thought it was only top 200 so I kept pushing it to the top 200 untill after 800+ g&R points I finally discovered that top 350 was enough...
Top 1000? Man, that sooo easy... it's not even fun!

It's harder to get in the top 1000 now then it was to get in the top 500 or whatever it was when I first ascended.
My attack then was ranked 400, now it's not even 1000.
My defense is 3 X more now, and it's not even in the top 1000 either.
