I was just wondering if those who were more experienced could share any pointers on raiding?

I'm sort of interested in like should I buy AT off the Black Market or use MTs etc.

Using market turns is cheaper actually, but often people who are just starting do not have the naq to use the ingame market themselves. In that case it is best to just trade for attack turns until you can use your own, and eventually purchase other people's market turns.

You can also get 'raiding contracts' and whatnot to help start you off.

FOr getting turn, when I used to raid alot, I'd trade let's say, 10-20k uu for turns (found some 10:1 rates), raid with those turns, halfway done thru the turns I had repaid my trade, the rest was profit. THen I repeated the same thing, keeping the profit. The way to infinite turns As long as there are traders of course.

Thanks for those tips. I've tried some raiding now but I've not managed more than 197 UU stolen per 15 turns used. So how much roughly do people here get when they raid?

Don't raid anything unless you can stay over 300 UU per 15 turns average. I usually won't bother with anything that doesn't have at least 25k UU out in the open. The more UU in the open they have, the better.

Lol! Yeah I've been out, found one guy who had 30k UP, then got told a lot of people know about him and therefore more likely he'll recede into a black hole.

If you have a strong MS you dont want to be turned to mush, send it out to scout for planets for 24 hours before you start raiding. It wont be included in your raiding battles and therefore wont take any damage. Also, only use one atk wep, and dont repair it. The one wep will keep geting destroyed while your raiding, but it will only cost a few thousand naq to get another one. While on the other hand, if you have over a 100mill strike, your repair bill will be rediculas. So unless you have an uber income, one wep is the way to raid.

Also, insted of useing covert to find targets(or if your out of covert turns), use one atk turn to scout them. If you get more then 20uu on the 1 turn hit, spy on them and see how much uu they have. If its less then 20kuu then its really not worth raiding, but if they have about 23k+ out, you can probly get afew k off them.

NOTE - I'm speaking from personal experiance. I'm not an uber great raider like some ppl, but I do know most of the ins and outs.

Also..its possible to raid with only planets

I have 30m strike from my planet, and I use it to raid, dont have to go to repair or buy a new weapon every couple attacks that way

Right me gonna have to find an attack planet then

yeah i dont have any attack weapons at all but my planets make up an 80 mill strike bonus so my strike is 80 mill and i dont ever have to reapair

to raid the easy way , simply decalre war and raid with 1 AT everyone with over 30k total army size, even if they are ??? you could still do it heh , if you get attack defended move onto next guy, if you get less than id say 25 uu stolen then move on, if you get over 25 uu, then hit them with 15 AT's and stop if you hit 300 uu or go under 300 with 15 AT .
