Bonuses:
10% more for having no commander.
10-30% of commanders income, based on their officer income rate, divided by the number of officers they have.
the larger bold text is the bit i dont follow
this was taken from the help link then from calculations link
so a comander gets a 10% bonus for being alone . ok
he sends a % of his income too officers . ok
this is based on there income ?. i dont understand that ????
divided by how many officers they have . ok
does this mean "maybe" that the higher the officers income the higher the amount they get from the commanders too officers % per turn..
?

No, "based on their officer income rate" is talking about the officer's rate/percentage rate, which varies 10-30%.
Eg. Commander income: 6 million
Officer income rate: 30%
Number of officers: 1
Officer income bonus = 6 million x 0.3 = 1.8 million
If Number of officers is 2, then officer income bonus = 1.8 million / 2 = 900K.
I agree though that the wording is misleading.
