Sabotauge

Exactly how does sabotauge work? I've tried numerous sabotauge mission, but my infiltartors are always killed, even after having JUST completed a successful spy mission against those same players. This is really getting annoying, Losing 600 infiltrators to a player ranked 2,000 below me.

1) just cuz you can spy doesn't mean you can sab 2) just acuz they're lower ranked than you doesn't mean there spy is lower

Because us in the low ranks have HIGH coverts. LOL

increase your spy lev to 13 or 14 and you see dan.

to the point of the topic (thank you Owen tsk tsk)...
1. You sabotage by working out the intricate maths involved, somewhere along the lines of each spy level upgrade being a certain multiplyer which is then the
value of each of your spies, resulting in your covert stat. From figuring this out, after recon your opponent you can roughly work out how many spies to send at your enemy to destroy weapons. Factors which will send you crying to the forums are as such.. sabotage players lower in rank than you will earn your spies a minus modifier, making them less effective, covert alerts on realms will also make the realm highly impervious to sabotage dependant on the covert alert setting and then there is always that little bit of jazz i am so fond of mentioning, for my part.. when adding the
jazz factor i simply multiply my result by 1.7, usually does the trick.
2. Covert upgrades, buying more spies etc effectively increasing your covert stat DOES increase rank, but it is more noticably effective if you balance all three.
3. Confirm: someone lower than you in overall rank does not necessarily have a lower covert stat than you.
4. send ALL your spies for recon.
