In the new game update section it says..............
5) the size of the planet is also now a multiplier of the base value, as well as allowing for more defences to be built on the planet. The smallest (tiny) is x1 while the top size so far is x9.
This applies to everything except UP where the increase is time 1. (ie 1.1, 1.2, 1.3....1.9)
Can anyone tell me what the hell that actaully means? (the Up bit)
Thanks!

you know, u have a 1000 up planet......you would multiply that by 1.1 1.2 1.3 etc......it would increase it from 1000 to something higher
if u have a 1 billion defense planet u will multiply by 1, 2, 3, 4, etc...
i believe thats what he is talking about
so a 1 billion based defense planet can become 8 billion pretty quick with bigger sizes

I think it was meant to mean times, and times as in multiply

its like this ......
if ya got a planet with a 50mil cost on defence per upgrade
if you upgrade it by 10 upgrades it will actualy increase by 15 (the 1.5)
best way too figure this is too take the defence cost at its first figure
small = 30mil so its 3 10 upgrades = 13
ok ?

k Say u have a planet with 1000 UP Small
And the small upgrades on a huge plant will get you 1700 UP i think.

Okay, so say you have a tiny attack planet that provides 100mill attack.
You upgrade it's size once, and it now provides 200mill attack.
You upgrade it again, and it now has 300mill attack.
Now, say you have a UP planet (tiny) that provedes 100UP.
You upgrade it's size, and it now provides 110UP. (not 200UP

)
You upgrade the size again, and it now provides 120UP.
In other words, the UP ones don't get as big when you increase their size because honestly that would just be crazy. I know some ppl that before the update had above average ones with 2750 UP. If it was a modifier like the attack planets, they'd now add at least 10k UP each.

Thanks everyone for you input, I am now clear on this one. It does indeed increase your planets UP when you upgrade the size of the planet
