hmm...i did a search and couldnt find this anywhere, but if its out there and i am just unable to find it then i appologize

does anyone know what are the chances of success when you send you mothership searching for a planet, what variables effect those chances, and how to improve them?

im sorry.. i didnt realize they had so many planet threads in there...but after looking through all of them i dont think its accually possible for anyone to answer my question...
