At this point i feel all hope is lost for this game, this is stupid, beyond stupid actually.

Usually im far more nicer to the admin, if anything i am always trying to be as sensible as possible, but this is something that is even beyond my own self control.

You haven't really said WHY though Vis. Don't get me wrong, I don't understand it much myself so I can't comment much, so please elaborate

You CANT just log people out no matter if its random or not, there are so many different scenarios that simply will put people at risk.

you may be unbanking naq when you expire, doing a massing, conducting a deal, so on.

and its just plain annoying.

If security is such a big problem then maybe people just need to wisen up instead of admin making life harder for the rest of us, and maybe its time we discuss that annoying login code which admin forgot to set as the login button default aswell ... you cant press enter key after entering the code coz the password box is still the linked box.. lol go admin go !

Maybe you shouldn't stay logged in for 3 hours. Maybe admin wants to encourage people to go out more. Maybe I shouldn't be saying this. Maybe I am in a horrible mood and I'll leave for the rest of the day, so that I can be nice tomorrow.

Try loggging back out and in right before you conduct a big deal?
I am pretty sure that this is more to stop auto bankers. I am quite happy with admin lately. They took away the code for banking, I'm happy about that, because now I only have to enter the code when I log in, not everytime I bank, which is many times a day.

Personally I don't see a problem with being logged out after 3 hours. I see it as a necessity for the well-being of the game and our enjoyment of it (would you prefer seeing accounts mysteriously never having naq out, and then have admin chase down all these abusers?). Quite simply having to log in every now and again shouldn't be that big an issue - I can log in in about the time it takes to sneeze (if we assume it's a standard head-jerking sneeze, not one of those light sneezes) so really couldn't you take a 3 second hit for the sake of prevention of cheating for the entire community?

ok for the log in key just press tab and then enter. in all fairness its only one more button type in the code then tab and enter that worls fine and i havent experienced the log out thing but i can imagine that its very annoying

actually its shift+tab coz your moving " backwards " across tabs, and you people have no idea how auto bankers work right ? no that is not an issue anymore, you cant autobank becuas of the heading bar changing size all the time.

so really yous have made no valid points yet !

still how does this moot the point that admin forgot to change the box that activates the login button when pressing enter ? point is still made.

B: auto banking no longer works because of the changing size of the heading, so why do we have the wandering button still ? and why do we get auto loged out ? honestly your not gonna use a stop watch when using sgw and i don't care what point you make, its still an UTTER ANNOYANCE !

and why do we have a login code when auto login scripts wont work coz SGW changes its heading size randomly.

Autoclickers no longer work, because of the header, but there are other ways.

I don't think that something should change because some people are lazy and/or are so addicted to the game that they want to stay logged in for over 3 hours without having to spend a few seconds to log back in.

Why should admin have to put in a few hours, or even just minutes of effort when you cannot put in a few seconds of effort?

EDIT: sorry, in two minutes, I was able to find a way to bypass the fact that the header changes size. Hahaha. Autoclickers can still be used, if you know how. I'll speak to admin about it, though. You don't have to worry about a thing ^_^

He had to put in the time in the first place for something we didn't Even have to do, your analogy is not very smart because since he put in the time to employ these new annoyances we now haveto waste time re-logging in and whatnot, and actually i spend so little time on sgw these days this does actually annoy me since i come back every few hours and i find myself having to reloggin when previously i could use my auto refresh tab to stay logged in, it " wastes " my time over and over. and i cant even use the enter key coz admin did not properly configure the login page.

The problem i have with it is i come home from work and want to check my account quick before i do enjoy the day, and nope it says i've been logged in for 3 hours except the problem is i just turned on my computer so how can i have been logged on for 3 hours??

Yes it is. Shift+Tab goes backwards one link. You could also use Tab to go forward one link and hit enter on the log in button.

shift+tab to go back one box to the password box then hit enter wich links to the login button wich logs you on or tab to go to the login button, however the latter option still requires 2 extra tab hits.

if it wherent for the password box only 2 tab hits are needed, right now 4 are needed. and you need to type in 3 numbers where as before you did not.

still the login area would not be so much of a drama, really it would be pretty much ok if it wherent for having to login everytime i come back to my pc.

auto refresh is not cheating, it actually has no effect on the gamers account, it is a function that refreshes the login cookie, wich modifies a value on your own pc not on the SGW server, please research your computer knowledge before proceeding with accusations.

yup. you know WHY I have to add extra measures to security.....

well... computers facilitate automation. automation is not allowed here. so using your tool to do what it is capable of it against the rules.

In short -if a computer can auto logon, it can autobank. auto UP increase. auto anything.

this argument is EXACTLY why this cannot go on infintely....

sorry vis - to play you have to be there. to cheat, you also have to be there
but if you're there anywya, no need to cheat
