ok. listen closely mate:

Tauri.. a name for a race of humans that is legedary to the Jaffa. Said to be the proto human race.

Jaffa... Humans enslaved by the Goa'ld for thousands of years

Goa'uld... In reality, not a race but a species of parasitic amphibious reptilian serpent. Once a serpent successfully embeds itself onto a host, the serpent gains almost absolute control of the prey's brain. They used to portray themselves as the ancient Egyptian Gods and some Hindu and Chinese dieties.

Asgard... they are an alien race who are better know in Norse myth as the pantheon of Odin, Thor, Loki, Baldur etc... In the stargate television series, the Asgards are an advanced race who have evolved into those alien types with big heads, big eyes and frail bodies. The asgards have a somewhat benevolent attitude towards humans.

Ancients... a race of advanced humans that has since become extinct. On earth, the ancients suffered a plague that killed off most of their number. Others died in their war against the Wraith, while those who survived succeeded on the path to enlightenment, thereby allowing them to transcend the physical. The ancients are also credited with building Atlantis in the pegasus galaxy.

Wraith... erstwhile opponents of the Ancients. these subhumans evolved due to close proximity with an alien bug. The final evolution of the wraith made it necessary for them to feed on an organism's (human) life force. They were awakened by a team of Tauri explorers when they tried to rescue some of their comrades. Now, the wraith are once again wreaking havoc in the pegasus galaxy.

Ori... Same origins as the ancients except that when the ancients left their galaxy to explore, the ori stayed behind. Eventually, they too ascended and used religion to siphon power from their worshipers. the ori were defeated in Stargate SG1 - The Ark of Truth.

Tollan... In stargate, an advanced alien race who are fully human (biological).

Nox... another advanced human race. like the ancients, the nox have mastered technology and mind over matter to live a peaceful existence hidden away in their own corner of the galaxy. although not much is shown about the Nox, the distinct impression is that these people are not to be trifled with.

Furlings... another advanced race, but nothing much said about them.

To'kra... former goau'ld who believe that a peaceful co-existence between host and serpent is possible. the to'kra hate the goa'uld with a passion.

All the rest, Indu, Anja and Tollah are just creations of Jason, the creator of stargatewars MMORPG.

Indu and Ajna aren't exactly creations, they are based on real life mythology, the Indian one.

you are correct. they are part of world mythology. there was no mention of them though. there was no mention of them in SG1 though.

It is the alterans in my opinion.
System Lords lack good shields, even if they are much more warmongering than Alterans, they are in disadvantage on space.
The drones would cause much damages.
Ground battles won by System Lords, but air ones, by Alterans.

Sounds like Alterans are T'au.

I don't find it on my Goa'uld dictionaries..

Im just gonna check in my massive encycopedia of the universe, be right back in aprox 10years.

i think it is a match in space out of the ancients and asgard

the bc-304 with beam weaps takes out an arora class easily
and a round of drones from the aurora class will most likely take out a bc-304

ground would be won by Goa'uld though as no other race tries to dominate people and therefor dont need ground based troops
but every other race kicks their ass in space and can therefor bombard the Goa'uld groundtroops from orbit

the reason i chose ancient over asgard is because the asgard dont have a hand held weapon and rely on their ships to do everything
