does 1 unit train other units and is there a limitation?

no, unit production is limitless.
and you're only upgrading your facilitys capasity to train troops.

In english (no offense psy) that means gettin it doesn't get you more units every time straight away but if you get it you will get more units throughout the day

what i meant was if i have 10 units untrained and my unit preduction per day is 10 do does each of the untrained unit make 10 more so that id have 100?

No sorry
you just get another 10 units a day
unless the person has 10 children that grow into a adult in a day
