God VS Goddess

I just thought I would bring this up, since it's something that has bothered me for some time now I just had to secure my footing in it before stating my opinion.
Why is it only Living God? There are numerous women/girls who play this game and I am sure (well i hope i am) they also do not want to be called a God. Its gender specific by definition, male. I know that this will probably be dismissed, however we have worked and achieved just as much to get this far in a mostly male dominated game a lot of us women are doing VERY well...
So ... why can't I have the choice to be a Goddess not just a God?

I think it might be because a God is not defined by either genrder, male or female. It is only conotation that makes most people beleive God is male.
However, I feel confident in saying that there will now follow 423 posts contradicting that just for the sake of it, so let the agruements start..........................now!

I can't see that it makes a difference. So why not let girls be a Living Goddess of the X
I must say it would make the game a bit more intresting to have Goddesses as well.
Shouldn't this be in Suggestions then?

i totaly agree that there should be a godess aswell. it would defenetly bring something extra to the game.
but it is not sexiest not to have it as god is a definition of ones being, and as such can be either male or femal or indeed genderless.
but apart from that yeah go for it tweety get all the biotches under one banner

see that is where you fall down cos i know for a fact that some of the females in TGW are ugly as hell

Noone is ugly, some are just not as good looking as others.
How ever, we could just say ingame they are beautiful, outside of the game doesn't matter.

it's not a sexist thread..
if you are talking about a group of diety's they are gods, regardless of their sex, however in the singular term a god is male and a goddess is female.
So in essence i belong to the legion of living gods, but i'm a goddess in form.
really i'm throwing this out for arguments sake, i think it would be a nice option.

Personally I think you're wrong about the definitions, but think the option wouldn't really hurt to have.
