i think, and am quite convinced this player (Lord Doorzon) id=66666 is a Multi. He has Nothing in his account - except a very large amount of fleets on his mothership. He uses these to steal planets, and his army size fluxuates in size regularly by about 50K or so..
and he has also sent rude and insulting messages to several people in our alliance as well as take planets from them.
I would like Admin to look into weather this player is a multi or not..
and please hurry before more planets are lost.

just because he stole your planets doesnt mean hes a multi

he might well be a planet thief. People pay him money for him to get his fleets, he then goes and takes people's planets with his uberfleet that can't be harmed. Said funders then take the planets for themselves.
Cowardly and arguably using an exploit, perhaps, but multiing... can't say for sure.
He may or may not be a multi, but he's definitely operating with other accounts.

Wow, it's amazing how one-sided people can be. I'll give you the REAL lowdown on what I am doing.
History: I played the game for several months, was doing pretty good, and figured I could buy large covert if I stored my Naq as weapons then sell them in one go. Well, after selling 10 bil worth and clicking on the "buy" button, It said no resources! aack, in the 3 seconds it took me to sell my naq, someone stole it. Fine, last straw. I even got threatened to be massed/sabbed to death because I sent a simple message "you bastard." which I meant in the context of South Park "you bastard, you killed kenny!" Doesn't matter, i've had it with bullies.
ANYWAY, i set out to NEVER get massed or sabbed again or threatened to. SO, I sold EVERYTHING off and put it into my mothership.
Now, to set things straight, I DON'T go looking for planets. I get PLENTY of nubs hitting me, stealing naq, declaring WAR on ME. So when I steal a planet, I get the usual fanfare of mail "i'll mass you, give me my planet back, i'm SO MUCH stronger than you blah blah blah"
Well, most of these people get PISSED when I say, go ahead, you can't do crap to me! And I don't have your planet. I also tell them, give me back my naq & declare peace and I'll stop taking planets.
Well, it took 8 or so planets before this DarkShadow guy gave in. And then I come here and see he accuses ME of cheating! HA!
ALL i do is take planets. I USE to just delete them. I still do occassionally. But alot of the time, I just contact people in the lower ranks and tell them they can have it, for FREE! Think of me as the Robin Hood of SGW

\
And if you don't like that? Then DON'T ATTACK ME. I accept ALL Peace offers.
My mission is simple: Those of you ranked 300-2000...just because you are that rank doesn't mean you have to be a **Filtered** and threaten people with massing/sabbing because you don't get your way. Not everyone is a Farm target...
Oh, and I'm NOT alone. All of my friends are doing the same thing. SOMEtimes we work together and take your planets all in one day. We're not Multi-accounts, just like minded individuals.

If this is limited exclusively to people who have attacked you, that's at least understandable to some extent, but not everyone seems to be limiting themselves to such criteria - the person who did this to me is someone I've never heard of before who hasn't responded to any of my very polite, extremely non-threatening posts.
All
I want is a chance to get my planet back, and that's not hurting anyone or trying to bully anyone.
But sooner or later you're bound to annoy someone in a position to hamstring you somehow, and even in the best case scenario, creating a arlge number of angry higher-ranking players likely insures you'll never get to any higher ranks.
And eventually, higher-ranked players will get the idea and simply build up their planet's defenses, and you'll be back where you started...

It is also possible to destroy fleets now.....

I tell them, make peace and I'll stop taking planets, not an unreasonable request right?
If they have no planets, I go to the commander, same request, enforce peace or loose planets. If he doesn't have a commander, I go up the tree. Very rarely does NO ONE have planets.
I'd also like to point out, If someone is actually nice or polite in asking, I'll leave them alone as well. But I've NEVER gotten that. I ALWAYS get a demading email wanting the planet back or a threating email saying they'll mass me or what ever.
I'm not interested in ranks anymore. This is WAY less stressfull. I don't have to worry about some nub sabbing me before I wake up or anything.
Trust me, I would have played this game till I ascended 10 times IF it wasn't for all the aholes out there, they really just make the game NOT fun.
Also, this game is just a bit unbalanced because of it. It's pretty much like PvP in World of Warcraft, yer lvl 10, and ya got a bunch of lvl 60's wanting to kick the crap outta ya.

I'm not worried about that, I can replace em in meer minutes. I still have a decent UP and can sell enough miners to buy it all back... Not to mention it's got pretty heavy shields.
And I didn't "give" up 10 bill, it was farmed but I'm over that now
Quick question though for anyone, when did it become "acceptable" to steal Naq, but NOT acceptable to steal planets? Especially when someone declares War on you?

It's been thay way since planets were first introduced despite adminstrators' thoughts that they should be considered easily lost because Naq is an ever-replenishing resource but planets are not; once the 'planet pool' was drained, the chances of finding one via exploration became almost nil.
Also, every time you steal a
developed planet, you're stealing Naq as well - the Naq that was put into its development.
So - planet theivery is seen as more 'serious' because you're taking both one of the most useful and hard-to-acquire resources in the game as well as the Naq put into its development whereas Naq is mostly something you'll get more of eventually and generally not lost more than a day's worth of at any one go.
Also, Naq is something you have to have enough of for someone to
want to steal, which puts some lower limits on the raiding, but people with only one or 2 planets (like me) are still targeted.
Or to put it another way - you lost one pile of Naq.
I just lost an income-boosting planet that was adding 3 mill to my income every half hour.
Who took the bigger loss?
And personally, I have a policy of not famring anyone who doesn't have at least 2000 unused turns. Have since I hit the 5000's...

That's a good start - how about they, Shields and Weapons are all subject to sabotage as well? I frankly don't understand why it's not that way already...what, do they slip into some hyperspace pocket outside of time and reality while you leave the rest of your entire arsenal just lying around to be blown up???

I'm not equating the fact that me loosing 10bil naq is more/less trivial than you loosing a planet. I'm just pointing out the inherit problem with this game.
The admins think the game will be played one way, and it's played another. YET, they do nothing to enforce or help the game.
IE. They *Could* allow you to only steal planets from people with more than 2 or 3 or 8. They *could* allow you to only attack people within a certain rank like they do for raids. They *could* make it so you HAVE to declare war to attack someone, and after declaring war, must WAIT 24 hrs before they CAN attack you which would give people to "defend" themselves.
Yet, they don't. So everyone is expected to act honorably? Maybe most do. But that is acting like if you went to prison, you would act with honor and integrity when everyone else beats the crap outta ya. No, instead you do what it takes to survive within the rules that are layed before you.
Here's another problem, why is building your "attack" cheaper than "defense"? If they cut defense cost of planets by a factor of 100 or 1000, and put a limit on it, maybe people could keep them longer.
Or how's this, everytime a planet is stolen and breaks orbit, it has a chance to blow up or break up or both. That would keep the back & forth bit down. Be funny too if you stole a planet, it blew up and BAM, you lost all your fleets because of it.
There's a 1000 things you could introduce to add risk and balance, but they won't. This game is really for people who started playing 1.5 years ago...

You completely missed what I said.

Trust me, I've lost much more than you have, and I'm still chuggin' along.

ok...ive lost about 200billion naq in damages and planets...but yet im still playing. i rebuild and do it again...if i get massed and lose more i rebuild and go at it again
