Ookay then. the other day i took a planet offa a guy named broad sword he sent me a short message threatening to take a planet back. I ignored him. then today, a guy named GOLDEN Eye takes one of my planets. not that I cared much. however he sent me a message saying "4 more to go." which i found extremely odd. especially out of the blue. upon closer investigation into his account I found he had no planets, no atk, no def, very low spy, high mothership fleet value, and a high UP with only nine days worth of units (around 5-6k up) of these was maybe one day worth of miners, and 2 or so days worth of UU. all of this in of itself is odd especially considering his account stats amd the message. and the fact that with the stats of his account he'd need all the planets he could get.

now, the planet that he stole, he stole about 3 hours ago. now he doesn;t have it. even witht he negligable resources it'd provide there'd be no reason for him to abandon it. and to have it stolen. anyways he may not be a multy, but i think it stinks of multying.

my account is here

he had no reason to send a message, and his account just, well, look for yourself. I'dunno. he may not be a multy of broad sword, but methinks he is a multy of someone.

yeah GOLDEN eye is a pain, that is for sure.

I dont know that he is a multi but I do think he is exploiting a loop hole in the system where you can have one guy with NOTHING on his accout except fleets, and he can steal planets for others.

Actually that would be 2 people with 2 accounts working together. Not a mutli but certainly something that needs to be addressed

actually it is multying. as it fall under the "that they are effectively one account" clause.

i stole one of broadswords planets, (a very nice planet with very low def) and this is what i found in the pm screen:

From Subject Sent Reply Delete Delete From User
GOLDEN eye GOLDEN eye(59691) has set their relation with you to: War 19:20 reply delete delete all from this user
Broad Sword None Given 19:14 reply delete delete all from this user

so (if he is guilty of multi'ing) he got on broad sword, found out i stole his planet, pm'ed me, got off, got on his golden eye, the "6 minutes later!!" he pm's me with a war declaration.... take that with what kerrus magrus said in the firs tpost and that looks like a multi to me.[/list]

or goldeneye is his friend and is also very active, not exactly sure though....

someone should tell one of them about this topic so they can come on and make "buts" of themselves.

Aye, this loophole needs to be closed up, and sooner rather than later.

However, with a limit on the number of planets available, we all know who will hold them all. Until then, Planet Hunters can at least get planets to smaller players who won't see them otherwise.

Basically, fleets need to be targetable, but it shouldn't be an easy feat to take them out either.

Yeah...except that the only ppl who can rly afford to hire a planet hunter are big players. And...the only ppl who can't afford to put enought defence on their planets to ward away planet hunters are small players. You're stealing from the poor, giving to the rich, and making a little profit yourself.

It was a nice try sounding noble, but it didn't work.

Who said I was stealing for the rich? Who said I was getting paid?

Not a multi, maybe they are working in tandom as many top accounts do, one takes planets, the other reapes the rewards, once one account is strong, it is the other ones turn. I would be doing this if i knew someone i could trust enough and if i had the time.

a person might make his account fleet only then work for some players. Then after they have the "promised resources" they delete their old account and create a new one that will have much resources from the payments.

so that way, it's a good way to grow... :-D
