Planet Renaming system

I suggest that when a User renames a planet if they try to leave the planets name blank then it be assigned either a random name or a random seriel code Like PX543 or something like that. This will prevent people from exploiting the nameless planet bug and also make it so people can't just remove names of the planet they would actually have to name the things.

nameless planet bug?
If you mean what I think you mean - then they could simply give all of their planets the same name = same effect.

and if you can't see them... it's not a good idea to attack them...

The point is for those people that remove the name in order to prevent people from seeing the planet at all (I.E. People that only have one planet). they could also make it so no two planets can have the same name but that will limit the names available for planets down way to much.

There are people exploiting the bug where if you only have one planet and you left the name blank then on a spy log the planet doesn't show up. This would curb that issue as it would force all planets to have a name of one sort or another. That and Its kinda stupid to have a nameless planet anyways.

Alrighty i don't see how you think that but whatever it was just a suggestion anyways. from what i can tell 90 percent of all suggestions are shot down anyways just like the PPT thing which take a grand total of about ten minutes work to implement so i really don't care anymore.

Implimented game suggestions help the game, not some noob and his alliance that cant buy themselves PPT.
Check ANY game forum, 90 percent of suggestions ARE shot down, because they are just that, suggestions.

Not that PPT Suggestion. Just the simple suggestion of actually putting something on the attack screen to show whose on PPT that way people don't waste time checking stats for a person that can't be attacked anyways. It would be useful and if PPT is that important then why not. People don't seem to follow this line of logic however.

I think you got this wrong wolf. There is a legitimate bug.
If a person has only one planet, and it's name is a space, then it does not show up in spy logs at all. Under Planets, on the logs, it simply lists nothing.
In addition, in the drop-down menu of the steal planet screen has no entries.
I know because I have encountered this bug before, as well as heard many reports of it.

Thank you Maniac this is exactly the bug i was talking about. making it so no one can leave a planet name as a blank will prevent that bug from being exploited. its easy to steal a planet change the name to a blank space then cranking up the defense in your spare time which goes against the point of being able to steal it in the first place.
