Hi admins,
I really like tha game, but I have a suggestion: here is an other stRAtegic game, it's unfortunately hungarian, but you shoud try it: http://www.hodito.hu in this game, when I open a new window(eg. spies), then not the whole window be refreshed, only the data in it, the fRAme, stay in place. I don't really know how does it work, but you should try to consult with that game's progRAmmers, or admins how do they do it. I think it would be helpful in the afternoon "tRAffic jams", and also for us, because the pages would be loaded much faster.
Well, that's all have a nice day,
Ra

freames are easy.. but they sometimes mess up depending on what browser is used to show them. Frames are just not worth doing in my opinion.

Are you refering to a program which holds templates in a exe and then fetchs the info from the sites sql server?

I believe I am.

[edit] Here's the original thread: Stand-Alone Program Interface.

I cannot wait for some newb to mention 3-d graphics in this thread. I will grit my teeth so hard I pass gas and fly into a fit of rage.

Well, with a stand-alone program, that's perfectly possible. It's just not likely.

well I just started messing with Java 2 sdk. Maybe if the game was turned into a text based applet, insted of php, it might reduce the server load. Considering all images and page templates would be installed onto the client computer, the applet would only need to query the sql server for the information.
