I was just thinking although the market does say it changes due to supply and demand it really should do it every turn. This way you would not run out of attack turns, as every turn, it will change the prices accordingly and at some time will just get uneconomic to buy them. That is unless you really hate someone you want to mass them loads and will do anything to get turns lol. I'm just putting this to see what other people thing of it as an idea??

p.s i have some attack turns i will sell at extortionate prices once other people have run out lol

This should be in the suggestion section..

And I think the market's okay as it is, refreshing it every turn would just put more workload on the server.. It already has to recalc ranks, income & various other things..

I play on another game where they have a market that changes every turn and that seems fine. Obviously the game has many less players than this one but if the server could handel it. It would make the game better as the market would be more realistic

Would it? The world stock exchanges do not trade 24 hours a day.

well, if not every turn, the market fluxs need to be more often.

So the London stock exchange does not open in the morning and finish trading at the end of the day then?

And the New York Stock Exchange doesn't have an opening bell in the morning and a closing bell at 4 pm eh?

in Brasil they close it to watch a soccer game

So what do you sugest we only alow trading certain times in a day?? I don't think that would work personally as who would decide which hours to run it??

No - we are suggesting that the idea of it changing every turn doesn't need to be implemente and to leave it as it is.

What so the market runs out of stuff periodically?? lol well i suppose it wil teach people a lesson

it wouldn't put any significant load on the server, it would basically be less than 3 calculations... it takes more work than that to update 1 account each turn.

As for the stock exchange thing, a particuliar stock exchange isn't open 24 hours, but only during business hours. However, stocks on any market can be exchanged 24 hours a day, and none of the markets are a "global stock market" but the SGW market is global.

fact of the matter is, it is rediculous that forum keeps seeding the market with turns, and a dynamic market would saolve that problem, but it probably isn't going to happen any time soon.
