Okay, here they are:
1) What's the difference (apart from cost) between :
a-Offensive Mercinary
b-Offensive Away Team
c- Offensive NID Team
What would having each of these in an X302 do to their strength.
2)
Is it neccessary to have "levels" of weapons, like should I have a couple of X302 (should'nt those be F-302?) some mini nukes, some RPG's and some P90's? Or should I try to get the best weapons possible, and keep a cache of P90's for everyone else to use.
Thanks.

Well, I just attacked someone, and something caught my eye.
--------------------------
1 of your army are Offensive NID Team
16 of your army consists of Offensive Away Team
1 of your 1 Offensive NID Team have weapons
16 of your 16 Soldier receive weapons
2 are given a X302 Craft
3 are given a RPG Rocket Propelled Grenade
12 are given a P90 Machine Gun
----------------
Now:
Did the Offensive NID team get a X302?
Why does it say I have Pffensive Away Team's when I actually have Offensive Mercenaries? Does the NID team "improve" the Mercenaries to perform as a away team?
Thanks again.

simple stuff here:
Offensive NID team is twice an offensive away team but u have to have an offensive away team to train 1
Mercs are the same as Offensive away teams but costing more
and NID teams always get X302 unless u have more NID teams then X302 then they get the next best weapons u have

Okay, thanks, there is still the "issue" of my mercs being called away teams.
So they cost about 75,000 more than mercs, and are only twice as effective? I Suppose that would stack with the X302 and the Upgrades? Leading to a much higher attack than if it was mercs in the 302's?

indeed much higher
also NID teams are harder to kill

Also, as far as i am aware, mercs are *slightly* stronger than ordinary race specific soldier units, only slightly though.

Huh, I was under the impression that they were weaker.
