I can't login

I can't seem to log-in. I got my username back and I can use it anywhere but in the log-in box. Can someone tell me what's going on. And if it's too long then why did it let me register with that name. The username is 23 characters long. Can someone please tell me what's up? I really want to log-in and start playing.

im having the same problem mistress is having and i cant figure it out and my name is 20 letters. and its Mephistopeles the dark? can anyone help me out
