Ascending and Lifers
Lifers now stay in realm when ascending. They do not count towards your minimum requirements, nor are they converted. They therefore stay in your realm, before and after ascending. They are, as the term implies, lifers.


Yesterday I went to see my old buddy, who also plays SGW. We started talking about ascension and I mentioned that most of my income consists of lifer. He looked at me and asked me if I'm stupid, because you lose lifers when ascending. I then showed him the text above and he was surprised.

He ascended after the update and lost all his lifers (no, this is not a bug report). Now I have two questions.

1) Has there been any reports of similar bugs after the update and has Forum/Admin already managed to fix then and now everything is OK?

2) If this does happen again, what are my chances to get the lifers back. Do I need some sort of screenshot to confirm my statement and who do I conctact in the first place (insteed Forum that is).

it was an update, lifers now stay with the realm permanantly.

they used to be taken with ascension, and now don't. so refunds aren't available.

No offense Psy, but I belive I said that my friend ascended AFTER the update. He shouldn't have lost lifers.

No refunds?! OK, that's bad.

sorry, i just wrote out a straw man arguement.

if he really did ascend after the update and lost lifers, then maybe you should email Forum or gamemod.

Well it was HIS problem not mine, but atleast now (THA to you), I know who to contact is that problem arises!
