if defender personally has declared war to attacker it voids nox, but if i read the updates correctly, same does apply for alliances, ie in case of alliance assault, assaulting alliance should get nox void when being defender, and in total war nox should be void in any hostile actions between members of alliances at war.
Updates wrote:Like individual war, the alliance war has effects on battles, sabotage, and voids the Nox insurance if the person attacking you is a declared war of yours -individual or alliance.

yet while some of our members were massing some of our enemies' members, only ones that could get thru nox were ones to whom defender has declared personal war, those that were simply in the alliance(which is at total war with defender's alliance)

same goes when they attempted to mass me, either nox was in place(i was not at war with either of people trying to mass me personally, only at alliance war with one of them, and other one wasnt even in that alliance), or it was really crappy attempt of massing, but i think it was mostly first

did the other alliance declare alliance war back?

I think I remember something about it should only works like that if both alliance declare 'alliance war' with each other.

Eitherway I have not seen it in practice working so i'd believe that it may not work for alliances like it does with players.

yes it was total war i believe i mentioned that in my post

but it doesnt matter, if the alliance declared alliance assault is the defender i think
still, i dont think it works, either way
