What is the best way to go about defending sab attacks?

Train more spies
Buy your next covert level
Set realm alert to critical.

When you set your realm alert to critical you can pretty much double your covert. Not stat wise, just for sabs and recon.

and as much covert as possible

So infiltration units have no bearing on covert defences?

What is a respectful level for covert on Q?

Does changing realm alert to critical raise the chances of a failed sab/killing spies, or does it just increase the chances of discovering who sabbed you.

As said; At realm alert critical, your covert power is effectively doubled for defensive purposes. I,e, if you have 90billion in covert power, and you set RA to crit, you will have (for defensive purposes) about 180Billion.

Obviously that’s quite a jump. Think of it as a temporary 2 spy levels.

(A note: I just realized you mentioned Q. All above concerns Main.
Still, I am fairly certain the RA crit in Q also doubles covert

When I started out I was stockpiling Infiltration Units, but they have proved useless unless reconing some-one, so I'v now converted them to Covert.

I don't see a sticky thread on this, I can't have been the only one confused about defending sab attacks.

I know this is un-related, but is there a way to destroy offencive weapons, or is there a way to chose which weapons are targeted?

defense weapons go first only then will you be able to sab the attack weapons

try one of the guides for everything

Thats what happened, I lost 50000 Overloaded Arcturus Generator, sabbed away by jack oneil. Yet my defense was untouched.
