My commander is on vacation mode, so I tried to make myself commander.

The problem is, the option to make commander doesn't show up for myself or for anybody else for that matter. The only person who the button shows up on is my current commander.

Any suggestions?

Did you just join him within 24 hours?

You could have the option set in your base not to accept any new officers, so when you went to make yourself your own CO, the button wasnt there.
