intergalactic council ingame polls

Just a quick idea inspired by some space simulation i recently played.
since a lot of players arent visiting this forum at all and their vioce is never heard, maybe we can establish an intergalactic council in main where every player got 1 vote per poll, he will only be able to see the current result after he voted. maybe three option, yes - no - abstain. simple majority decides.

polls can only be set up my admin or mod crew and can contain upcoming ingame changes, random events (like war taxes, limiting of trades etc. ban of ppt for a certain amount of time, etc) or whatever they like to suggest.
of course the forum can still be used to discuss things -but this way all non-bug/anti-cheaters-updates could be implemented a bit more roleplay- like and every player can vote secretly. another advantage, the admins will get a wider feedback then from the usual 250 forum users. (and every single player gets the feeling he can actually do something to decide the game progress).

your opinion? interesting or just a waste of time?

It sounds cool, gives those with not much time/care to give their opinion without having to come here. As an incentive to make people participate, maybe their could be a prize-or somthing along that line.

The idea itself is very good.

I just want to commend you for what I feel is an excellent idea.

I would love it if such a feature was added to the game.

I support this suggestion 100% :D :D

even if you are the leader of alpha, still got respect for you Ston :D

I like it. Would probably get a much more accurate feedback of what players think. And then we would truly have no reason to complain when game-changing decisions are made, as the players would have decided upon them.

I like it also.

If any of you ever played the game "A Tale in the Desert" its sort of like some of the policy change votes that you have in there.

sounds good, as someone mentioned we could see how many play.

I think a census should be taken like a link to click and you are then listed as active, so we could know how many would be voting, lol like a register of voters only those registered can vote.

whoever doesn't come here already gave his vote in the case of any update, so i don't see a reason to ask them once more.

They agree with anything that will get put into the game, this is their decision.
Whoever is lazy has no right to get special treatment

Some players dont have time for forums, so using a poll on their command center would save a hell of a lot of time.
