Need help in understanding the mechanics of up planets

When i was upgrading my up planets i got this eventually
+ 1,919 Unit Production Large
Next upgrade 13,000,000
and below that i had another planet i had for some while
+ 1,917 Unit Production Large
Next upgrade 13,000,000
So i'm big time confused now. I didn't change the planet size in ages so it cannot be that.
Plus i want to know what multiplyer there is for increasing planet size with respect to up planets. It is definitely not like with the other planets.
If i increase planet size the up doesn't increase by 3 per upgrade if it's a small planet although it increases by 1 when it's tiny.

its not a good idea to post a UP planet in a public forum......Its like showing up with a donut in a fat camp.....

i have had similar problems. the thing ive found is that when you upgrade multiple times it seems to give you a bonus upgrade for free
.
like when i upgraded a defence planet 30 times it actually ugpraded as if i did it 42 times. then i did it again and the actual amount was 33. its a bit strange so some clarification would be nice form admin.

Not true.
Increasing the planets size gives you more UP per upgrade, simple as that. The consequence is that the defense costs more.

ok well how is it that my UP planet that is still above average from when i got it gives me between 10% to 30% difference in upgrade when i buy large amounts of upgrades?

2 above average planets will give the same amuont per upgrade, a large one will give more up per upgrade, and a small one will give less.
It might of been upgraded as small then put into above average, so its base is different, they give the ssame though. You dont get more boosts for nufin, like buy 100 upgrades and get 130 dont work like that.
