How can i attract officers to my char and how do i determine what to pffer them

ahh the age old question of how do i get officers

basically increase ur rank people will come if you have a good rank

as to what to offer them i usually go with 30% of my income cause i get 30% of their unit pro and offer them protection from being farmed i guess

but how do give them 30% of my income

There will be a drop down menu when you get one.

Okay, on the Command Center page there is a place where you can see how much Naquadah you will get next turn. Is that with the 30% already taken out for your officers? Also, that 30% of your income, is that spread evenly about through your officers or how much do they get in relation to you?

how do i increase in rank though

Well, you have to work the tactics out yourself, as that is the whole point of the game, but you basically have to increase your covert action, by buying spies and covert levels, and your defensive and attack actions, by buying soldiers and weapons to go with them, you must try not to concentrate in one field to much otherwise, your rank will hold back. Now you have to work out the strategy to make you the best, good luck.

By the way, recruiting officers does not depend solely on rank but actually mainly on your income, to increase this you should build up on your unit production, found at the bottom of the training page, next to covert levels. I would say that you should aim to get a unit production of at least 500 although many go way beyond that mark. Anything over 1000 however is quite pointless as it would take almost forever for the untrained military peons to pay you back. Good luck!
