Merc sell improved and giving mercs

I like the sistem of buying merc in market only 999 allowed on one click , but if you want to sell it why only 999 per click - it should be like sell all or type at leest with 4 or 5 digits 9999-9 .

As every one know you can give merc to your offier ... but still you must click a lot of times if you give them a lot of merc WHY???

It should be like upper theme...

most likely it is the same section of code that sets the number of digits for all three...

its to stop all the big players buying all the mercs as soon as they come on the market, with 999 limit if ppl dont use tampa data it gives everyone a fair chance to get mercs

we think that he wanted to be able to give officer/sell mercs in greater quantities than 999, not to be able to buy greater quantities...

I think when you want to sell merc and when to give merc to your officers...

I would like to have more then 999 - 9999 or 99999

For buying is ok-ej i understand that

Could we get more digits for sending mercs to officers?

3 digits were enough when the game started but now, when you need to transfer more then 100k mercs it takes forever. Well i see no way this can be abused it will just shorten the time spent with monotonous clicking.

At the moment it's a total pain, there's about 25k attack/def/untrained mercs per turn.

As a small player I need mercs but can't get enough of them.

I'm Hoping that FORUM will increase the number of mercs available by a factor of 2X because there's so many players on the main game now it's getting impossible to buy them.

Also I agree with the first post about limiting the number of mercs than can be bought to 999, but when selling or transfering MERCS it would cause less traffic on the server and less stress on players if selling or transfering was increased to a max of 99,999.

No. - up until a few months ago (can't remember how long exactly), there were only around 3,500 mercs per turn - we have about 10x that amount now.

Besides, that is a different suggestion to what this thread is about - 1 suggestion per thread please (and please don't start a new thread with this suggestion - because many already exist).

yes, but ppl use that tamper thing.

I'm pretty sure that there are a LOT of people using Tamper Data to get ALL the mercs... that last few days I've been trying to max out my mercs, (only need 13k more) and there have been several times that I've refreshed the page waiting for the mercs to show, and in the time it takes to type 999, click buy and the page to refresh I get a message saying I didn't have enough resources (and there are no mercs left to buy, when the page before said there were 35k mercs) <-- and YES, I had over 1bil naq out so I had enough naq.

Couldnt tamperdata users filtered out by a script, which looks who bought more than 999?

btw this issue is cheating related... if someone can explain the whol tamperdata issue there, and give some guidelines, how to prevent this, its welcomed...

Bazzy, I don't know where to put it but basically tamper data works like this:

1) you turn it on
2) you submit a webpage (like the merc one for 999) like normal
Tamper Data then catches it, and displays a form that you can edit the #.. you locate your "999" # then you change it to say 25,000, and then submit the form.
3) Tamper Data then submits the form for 25k mercs instead of the 999 limit. The rest is done on the game side.

So if the game itself were coded to reject anything over 999, it'd stop the tamper data... I personally feel that instead of rejecting anything over 999, that it should just take people that submit for more than 999 in one click, it removes ALL mercs from their account (punishment for cheating).
