I don`t think so! The planets added a new playing field and a new dimension to the game. They are "pain in the ass" for those who cannot exploit theyr advantages and disadvantages.

And besides, this is a Stargate wars game... there must be planets in the game.

Planets rule....and nobody is forcing you to have planets anyway.

personally I couldn't give a crap about planets. I could however give a crap about all the hassle and hurt feelings that get brought up with the big "he sunk my battleship" feeling. But seriously. Thank you for jumping to conclusions.

Why post about getting rid of planets if u dont care about em?

you dont like planets dont have any and leave the rest of us to enjoy them and the problems they cause

Tell them to buck up, and find a new one. Being the XO of DD I am sure you have a lot of head aches with members losing their planets and then feeling all dejected because they cant seem to keep them. I get the same thing as TSA XO. Its a pain but the game would be boring with out it.

Tell your guys to stop wasting naq on planets when it would be better spent on their other stats. Then when they are powerful enough they can keep their our planets pretty well.

However, most in this game like planets. This is undeniable. Your opinion and your so called people around you only represent .001% of the game.

If anything I believe I should say thankyou to Forum to implementing a suggestion I had a long time ago: to stop the game from being simply galactic economics (I actually had other more defined ideas within that but what ever). Planets DO indeed add a whole new dimension to this game.

I completely agree with the last part; especially with training alliances, the thing they should be doing is building their account; going as far as they can go before they need to ascend. But no. Too many people place unfounded honus on planets, forgetting that the stats are augmentation and I never intended to be permanent. I think they detract from the game personally.
