Back to who's better...hmm, I wouldn't say that it's about comparing SL and Goa'uld, coz that would mean to compare uncomparable. You should rather compare ascended and non ascended players, OfC, still depending on level of ascension (one ascension is no ascension, u only lose your race bonus)
And yes-take a look at the top players, almost none of em is non ascended. It's thanks to bonuses, thanks to stronger weapons (yes-they are more expensive, but u spend less on training your troops, since you don't need so many to gain ranks etc.) plus you gain access to ascension server and (if you don't have it allready you poor little fella ) you also get supporter status. So I'd say that system lords as ascended beings are better than Goa'uld as non ascended (same for other races, I guess)

PS: SL are surely beter, as I am one

On topic though, SLs are the best without a doubt. Then comes Goa'uld, and then the other Ascended races followed by the other non-ascended races.

I still haven't seen AJNA (neither the Ajna clothes or the other ajna things) destroy tens of Ha'taks and Asgard warship and tau'ri vessels with only 4 ships. Which didn't take any visible hull damage.

And I have not seen some AJNA kill a man with it's mind alone. And fly a ship with it's mind.

I could go on and on with how powerful the followers of the Ori become. But there is no need. One of our priors could destroy an army.
