Anger level

Ok this would really make war more interesting....If a person has a nox insurance policy up and they get massed, they could have an anger meter that rises with each attack. The level of this anger meter would add to their strike proportional in someway to the damage taken. For example, if some takes 100 bil damage in a massing, 10 bil is added to their own strike. Of course the anger meter would decrease every turn, so the person who got massed would have to retaliate soon to take advantage of the anger attack boost.

LOL, I would have huge strike...
Interesting to say at least, however to put it under Nox is a bit non logical, seeing that Nox are hippies...umm, treehuggers..damn, I mean peace for all people. They do not know anger and agression.

interesting, and would be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun on quantum, especially for me with no defence, id have a huge strike in a day

but make it so people with no defense can't use it *points at shizune* (just kidding). this idea sounds interesting, but i can live without it.

You guys do realize that even with just the normal massers/raiders, an update like this would throw the game waaaay off balance. And not to mention the cheaters who would abuse this to get a strike so huge no fair playing stat builder could compete.
This isnt really a bad idea, it could make things interesting...in another game. Another game designed to handle the colateral damage this would couse here.
That said, this isnt possible in sgw. Neither main nor Q. However, since so few play chaos anyway, why not throw it over there? heh heh..

Good point syreck, how bout this, the anger meter can only match your natural strike, so if u have a normal 10 bil strike, the most it could become when 'angered' is 20 bil. That would keep strikes in a reasonable range

well you could have it were the angry meter can add only a percent of your stats that are destroyed so that way it is not able to be abused unless you want to waste tons of uu and naq. Farming 0 def people will not get anything on an angry meter because it is your own fault you have no def nothing to get angry about.

yes sounds good...but with the big guys they can take advantage of it, as there strikes are much bigger then others.

maybe also make it so that after a certain amount of strike, they can't get angry, seeing as they already have the strike to mount a counter-strike?

however this could be taken advantage of... lets say I take an account with almost nothing on it... If a few strong players mass it, it does nothing to the account, but boost its strike... so in essense, this weak account could get a massive strike at no loss to anyone... (because the strong players would have no damage becasue of such overwhelming forces) and then the small player can mass anyone he wants.. allowing him to then disappear when his strike disappates... no way a rank 40k massed me to oblivion... you know?

That wont happen if they need to have 10 bil strike to boost it to 20 bil with the anger meter.
But I don't like this idea, not as it is now. But I belive if you put some work into this idea this could work out.
If you have 100 bil defence that is massed to 0, your strike could be increased to perhaps 50 bil, but you'd need to have a 25 bil strike for it too be doubled.
Well I didn't manage to put it like I ment to, this idea needs more work before it could be put into use.

so simplified... the anger level should be based on both what gets destroyed and what you have... ok well lets say I get sabbed... does anger only have to do with massing or sabbing too? because if I sab away your strike weaps... then anger doesn't work(techniaclly you hsould be twice as angry ^_~)
