When a given alliance attacks me with 900 million offense, and I hit them back seconds later and take it back because the have zero defense, why the hell are my weapons and mercs taking damage?

Did the mercs run valiantly into battle against the O defense O defenders, one accidentily tripped on his shoelaces, discharging his targeted gateweapon into the crowd?

I just dont understand this. If there is truly NOTHING there to defend, then why am I having repair damages and losing men.

Sounds like a logical game update to me.....

Not sure the thread belongs here, but.......

even though they have zero defence you would still incur a cost for war (as in real life) - someone has to feed your men and fuel your x302s (or equivalent)

Unless the men are eating eachother there should be no casualties.

The way I see it: You have two classes of soldier, trained in defensive tactics and the ones trained in attack. From a RPG sense, the attackers are in another camp. Or maybe they are just shopping at Wal-Mart. Making it an easy attack on my behalf, because no one is there to defend the fort!

The least we can do is 0 casualties for 0 defense, I'm losing hundreds of mercs amigo!

Umm ... well ... Perhaps your weapons management people are really bad at their jobs and aren't repairing them right. So every time you go out to battle, your weapons are malfunctioning (which damages them), which in turn injures and kills your men.

Just a thought!

i suggested a idea like this before


U no how the defense thing have that special if the attcker is less than 80% of the enemies total Def is does no damage why not implement a thing for attcking.

Let say of u 4x-10x the enemies def in offense power its does no damage but u still lose troops

I agree the casualties thing shouldn't happen if you are attacking someone with zero defence - but I stand by my comments that wear and tear on weapons would need to be repaired.

sry just had to say it coz in britain when ever america is at war they always show America kills own troops or america tries landing heli on statue which surprisingly goes wrong!!

The weapons repairs should be a little cheaper in situations like this however:

When they get to the realm and realize it is an easy steal a lot of the resources are not needed, alot of the weapons are just powered down. They just walk in, take the loot and walk out.

When I was in Iraq a British troop shot his buddy in the back and killed him when he tripped.... So lay off.

In reality friendly fire happens and the more scarce the enemy is the more likely it is to happen. Other things happen as well X302 malfunctions and the engin goes out and it crashes... Troop goes to shoot his Rifle but he tripped a hour before and the barrel was clogged with mud causing the rifle to blow up in his hands a piece of the stock cuts his neck and he bleeds out.

War is crazy dumb **Filtered** happens that just shouldn't happen both good and bad.
-A tree saved my buddies life.
-A travel mug saved my life literally the bullet was inside the coffe mug which I kept clipped to my chest for that ever important coffee fix the round would have gone right to the left of where my vest plate covered instead it hit a coffee mug.
-My rifle jammed causing me to turn and take cover while fixing the jam... I caught one in the ass which would have hit me straight in the hip and possibly killed me... My Rifle never jammed again my entire tour.

When stuff like this happens just as much bad stuff happens that shouldn't happen I won't go into all sorts of negative things here though.

ya good idea and yes akadios is right stuff happens its just life accidents happen people dont mean to break a cup just like soldiers dont mean to kill there buddies its war and lay off us Americans you snob go bash a country that deserves it and by the way what country are you from?America has the guts to fight and when people are bashing here I will help defend her this is as a true American should do or anyone should do for a good country.I think ive said all I need to say.
