have each person that wishes to participate post a list of their favorite book and then find one that most people have read and do a weekly/ bi weekly thread and give critiques and comments on it.

it is way too hard to find just one favorite book... there are too many good ones out there... perhaps it would be better with a "most read and not disliked" thread?

thats why you would do a wide selection of books...I never said pick a favorite just pick from a list of everyones favorites....
