HOW ABOUT TASKS AND/OR QUESTS?!

i have no idea about what be said as i'v used the forum for 2 weeks.(played for 4 months)
right in command centre/center theirs a butten that say quests and tasks basicy you can set yourself tasks and reminders or your commander can (with auto reward eg your co say get UP up to 5000 and you get a reward auto matic WHEN you say you'v finsh if it's naq it will go to your bank)
as for quest lets say the admin put some random player hows a space pirate and starts attacking people(he/she/thing will will do different damage on rank ect.. you can defend if you have high defence) a bounty will come up for the death/capture of the pirate, you can then hunt him down by using your mothership then attacking until you reach a amount to win you would get a reward of some sort but the succes would be on many people take the quest up and how powerful your MS is ect. the would be lots of quests too and it would add a new thing to the game making it more fun. :D

first part sounds possible to implement, and highly interesting and useful... that would be a way to help officers improve, and to be certain that he/she works on the correct things...

the second part, while interesting, seems too hard to implement...

I like the bit with the comanders but you said that the quests will depend on Mothership Power?


If Forum decides to implement the Quests (Which have been mentioned before) Then i think the higher ranks will get a percentage less then the lower ranks. Although this isn't perfect and still can be abused, it could help bridge the gap between the weak and the strong.

why is it always about the power gap? the strong will be strong! it is possible to get to where they are, belive me, my friend did it.
how bout evryone gets the same, regardless of rank? then noone will (or rather should) complain

well it's nothing to do with rank it's MotherShip Action and some quest would be for strong pllayer mid-core and beginers as the offer of 1 bil naq to a higher player would be tiny but a strong player quest would be 100 bil or something i hope that clears stuff up a bit

A commander or alliance leader based Quest would be great!
Altho a 1 per week or month would be required.

Funds for the reward could be taxed from income from officers/alliance like in chaos

i like the stream of thought but i prefer the idea of npc that fight players/alliances.

like the old idea of the "uber bad guy" NPC who steals from everyone. the task would be to destroy the NPC...

yes that would be good with all this A.I stuff it would add some things to do other then attack other players and waiting for things, taking out some A.I players would be fun :)

Quests are a large feature on ATW so probably not good for here
