As i was doing my philosohy work..i began to wonder if the great system lords would be abel to put their intellect where their mouth is and prove their existence! so...lets have it! prove to me that you exist! ill make a little sig attachment for you (obviously only if you want) if u manage to figure the answer out. so as one of my lasts threads (monday is on the horizon, when colledge begins and i dissapear..) Some harmless philosophical fun...lol

Which Goauld can prove to me they exist?

The fact that 'I' am searching to prove my own existence, is proof in itself. But seeing how that is a bit too simplistic I will now quote a bit from an essay I wrote in my College years:

What am I?
I am the sum of physical space, intellectual capacity and emotional experience. This trinity of bodies is me. Proof of having these three bodies is given through simple experimenting. I can touch my body, therefore it is spatial. I can think, and realise I am thinking, therefore I have intellectual capacity. I can experience anger, glee or love, therefore I can experience emotions.
This is not the grand total of ME though... I am the experiencer. The one that experiences these bodies... and through the fact that I am experiencing, I have proven my existence.

wrong... it does prove your existence..but not to me. (i will give a counter argument in time i want to see what others post before i do..but if u cant wait ill PM you a couinter if you wish. or meet me on msn, u have my msn..and i have urs..)

I mass, therefore I am

truthfully, as all we have to "prove" anything are our own senses, which can often not be trusted, it can be impossible to prove the existance of anything. All one has to do is posit that their being is the only existance and that everything is an extention of their self (either conciously or unconciously), essentially saying "everything is just in my mind", and it becomes an impossible position to assail with logic (even if it IS a rather unsatisfying position to take). The only thing that can be proven is the self, my thoughts and whatever "essence" that is me, not the flesh but the "me" that exists in my head and is coming up with these words now. Unfortunately, while I can accept my own existance in this manner, I can not prove my existance to you.

Sorry if it seemed a bit garbled and unclear, kinda in a rush.

lol..nope..nope and nope..but very goos answers! hahaha...i did likelord morlocks and Hitokiri's was my first answer to it! (well the person who asked me, jimmy canning aka the gay...said to me i dont exist and asked me to prove my existence..I responded by kicking him...

unfortunately philosophically it is the wrong answer..but a damnd good one otherwise!)

faith is but a belief held by the weak to justify the way in which the strong ignore them.

Or faith is the path taken by those who cannot find greater meaning within their own lives, so turn to another 'greater' thing for that which is missing.
