The end goes a bit to erm "socialistic" but it's quite readable.

this is the only book ive ever started and never finished. about 1/3 through it i said to myself "There are better uses of my time than reading this". I threw it in the trash. yes thats right. I threw a book in the trash. He is the only author I absolutely refuse to ever read again. I thought it was a huge waste of my time.

WHAT?!?!?!?! You threw the book away??/ That should be like a crime or something, if you didnt like it at least donate it so that someone else can get some enjoyment out of it. Personally i liked the book alot. Ive read it several times and im gonna have to get a new copy cuz this one is falling apart.

If anything feel free to throw the movie away, but the book is AMAZING. The movie only covers about 1/2 of the book. I think the second half is much better than the first.

The movie is one of the worst movies ever made, and easily John Travolta's worst movie. Im only alittle over a quarter through the book and I have to say I dont really enjoy it. I'll keep reading it but so far its very 'meh'.

I've never read it, so I don't know how readable it is, but I've listened to it on tape, and it was awsome. Long live Jonnie Goodboy! And I agree the story picks up halfway through. not that it was slow in the first place.
