Changing race and planets

Heres a puzzle for you lot:
If you change race and you are happy with losing everything, exept, noone can take your planets (coz you fixed em with a beasty defence
) and you dont want to lose em. Whadda do? You ask here:
If you change race, do you keep planets and their defences, are they lost on the way, do you keep them through the change without defences, or does they get destroyed (returned with absolutely nothing?)
I just wanna know coz the income bit of my account is settled by the planets, but I want to be able to mass the noobs that farm me. And what better way then as a tauri
