A few questions about IP exceptions.

Apologies in advance, this is a looooooong post.....
What with the recent spate of people being suspended for cheating (possibly due to a bug?) I'm somewhat worried about my application to have two IP exceptions.
I sent an email to the admin team and got no response, so I sent another one after patiently waiting for about two weeks for a response. I then got a response saying that they would need the IP address's that I wanted an exception on.
I have a friend on my Uni course who has started playing and is currently one of my officers. Obviously we both log in during boring lectures, which means I can't give him any help with resources at the moment.
My girlfriend would like to start playing (has become interested because of my need to log in at least 3 times a day and because during the time I spend playing, she is often looking over my shoulder and has now started to understand how everything works). She stays at mine more often than not during the week (4-5 nights a week), so if she starts an account she'll need to log in from my connection, and obviously I would like to help her out a bit as well.
With both of these situations it's not unlikely that I will be logged in at the same time as the other person (during lunch or a particularly boring lecture at Uni, or in the evening on my network at home.)
So having read the above, I would like the opinions of anyone has a similar situation with IP exceptions on the following:
1. Is it a problem that we would be logged in at the same time, possibly wanting to attack or otherwise interact the same person (I'll have to teach em both to mass properly) at the same time?
2. What’s the best way to prove that these are real people and I'm not trying to use multiple accounts for myself?
3. Aside from the IP address that we would like to be given an exception on, is there any other information it would be a good idea to provide?
4. As it seems the Admin team will forward the email directly to the game admin for a decision, is it worth me sending it directly there, or will it be more likely answered and acted upon if I send it to the admin team first?
5. I'm waiting for my broadband connection to be setup, due to the companies uselessness it'll be a further week or so till I can use broadband, at which point I'll get a new IP (using crappy dial up atm), so there's no point about asking to get an exception for my girlfriend until then, would it be better to wait and do them both at the same time? (I'd think this would be simpler)
6. I have a feeling that my Uni connection might be the same one for the whole of Brighton Uni (Will find out next Tuesday when I’m next in Uni), in which case it’s far from unlikely that someone else who goes to Brighton Uni might play, and also log in from Uni, could this cause a problem?
I realise these questions could be answered by the admin team, however they seem very busy at the moment so I figured it would be quicker for all concerned if I just posted these questions here. I imagine it might help others as well, which in turn will help the admin team by cutting down on the total amount of correspondence they have to deal with.
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers
