MOVED.

As I understand it - you have to buy the SS through the 'Support this site -UPGRADE' link on the Command page - the 'Buy SS' through the broker is symbolic and used to show that goods have been traded for SS - i.e. there is a record to help prevent scamming.

EDIT: This is from the bottom of the trade broker page:

Note: If you are trading for supporter status IN THIS GAME SERVER, the trade broker will facilitate this.
Please have the player providing INGAME GOODS initiate the trade.
Indicate the trade is for an ingame bonus (pick the appropriate one).
Once the donation FROM THE TRADE PARTNER TO YOUR ACCOUNT is made, the goods will be released to the trade partner, and the trade deemed accepted and completed.

You could "give" them something, and tell them to use it for ss. Once they have it, have them set up a broker for them to pay you back and whatever else you agreed on.

1% of Military Units Transferred will defect, never to be seen again.

Note that the function is to GIVE - not lend. If you GIVE resources to someone, the game administration has NO ability to return them to you. Place your trust wisely, or risk learning one of the lessons the cosmos can teach the hard way.
