I'm Sure You All Know ABout The "Home Planet" that is in everybodies realm...you know..the one which is UnConquerable and cannot Be Renamed Or Upgraded...

Well, i think its about time that We Start To Do Something With It!!!

1Quick Idea:

1) You Have A Choice Of Upgrading 1 out of a possible (4) technologies...for your Planet, which will effect your account..For Example...+10% Covert/Anti_Covert

And on Top Of That Your home planet, will produce a resource (extra AT's, DIRECT TRAINED Units To DEFENCE/Attack [Supers], Naquadah...Etc...) Of Your Choice

Or mAybe ADMIN will Create Something Totally Different For This Planet!! i just Hope It Gets To Do Something! lol!

Anyone else think this is A good IDea? or have any good ideas of thier Own about the "HOME PLANET"

Everything in your command center, armory, training and well, everything are all on your homeworld.

Every time you build anything you are doing it on your homeworld.

Now, I do think that there should be more that can be done with the planets but that is another thread, lol.

Like Acronon said - your homeworld contains everything in your account - except your other planets - so it already produces your AT, UU, naq etc. And you already train your troops on it.

So what would be the point of making it do something else?

lol! i understand That! but before planets were introduced into this game, there was no "Home Planet"

it Is Rather Pointless Then, to have a peice of writing in your planets list telling you that you have a "home planet" - that would be assumed...

It Would Be nice to at Least NAme Your "Home Planet" or at least have admin remove it, as it is serving NO Purpose... When the planet's were brought into this game, i thought that maybe he was saving this "home planet" for a later use or something!!! loL! but now i know it just simply refers to your Realm...and everything in it!!!

It seemed pretty clear to me from the outset what it represented.

Additionally - I think it was safe to assume that, before planets were introduced, that you were operating from your Home Planet - where else would you be operating from?

I don't think that we will ever see anything introduced onto the home planet that will increase AT/UU/naq production or anything else - because, as mentioned - that is already done through your account, which is 'located' on your home planet.

The fact it is written as 'Home Planet' unconquerable in the planet list is neither here nor there - and since it serves no purpose does it really matter if it is left there or removed? I'm sure Admin has better and more important things to do.

I will say that it would be nice to be able to name our home world.
Kinda like being able to have your name and your realm name in ascension.

Would be cool to name your Home Planet, but i cant see that high up admins to do list. lol.

okay! lol! it would be cool to Name Your Home Planet!!! And Maybe An Option to Customize the Graphics of your Planet Or Something!!! (oR Some Graphics At least lol!)

Graphics will probably not happen - the debate has happened many times before and always been rejected - stress on server/not needed/we don't play the game because it looks nice etc.

just naming it would been fine and i dont think it would be a big problem

just wat i was thinking as well

planet naming isn't a difficult task to prorgam in, maybe 10-15 minutes tops to do

More like 2 secs just copy the code fomr naming the planets u get into naming ur hom planet and voila done
