Planets Die

I dont know if this has been discussed or not so here goes

Every planet in your realm has a life span after a certain amount of time it goes supernova and dies or explodes and the planet either disapears or you abandon it due to exploding it could kill the other planets in your realm. This wouldn't happen just like that planets die after a period of time and you would realize its dying so it wouldn't effect your other planets unless you held it to long.

When I say die the stats decrease in time when everthing reaches zero boom or fades away. Also you could put into effect if you do have a planet thats dying its unstable to be taken and if stolen it destroys the fleets in the process of this 24hr move makes planet stealing a little risky with all those accounts that have nothing but fleets this should take care of that problem of multing (people say) and be fair to everyon.

Well feel free to add or tell me what you think this just hitme before Im going to work

I dont like it, planets have been introuced as a capturable permenant addittion to your account, if they are all going to die or blow up , whats the point of having spent trillions of naqudah of them as some have done?

1) planets dont just go supernova... suns do...

2) if your sun went supernova... it would destroy your homeworld as they are moved to your galaxy... aka the end of your account

3) if you were to abandon it... then there is no need to have it go supernova...

4) there are a limited number of planets anyhow... (which is suprising considering how many stars there are in the universe and that their will be planets around every one of those stars)

5) No... I think an idea of using planets as weapons similar to this sprung up before and it got shot down just as nicely as this one... sorry

I thought the entire idea was actually that they weren't permanent. :?

perhaps have like a rebel uprising after x amount of time of having the planet which to quash will cost x naq or something and in the "revolt" time, say the planet was a UP planet, it would stop making the extra UU.. oh and have the cost linked to how gd your account is cos you obviously don't want the weakest of players who find it difficult enough to get planets having to pay the same as big players. Mind you thats probably an entirely different idea lol

Instead of planets dying from 'exploding' maybe they can b destroyed or heavily damaged after an attack that it explodes or is no longer able to support life on it. This would require a massive amount of attacks. Maybe even add a way to repair your def. facilities after attacks.

No... they are permenant... just the location of the planet is not .... (capturably perrmenant) ..

Ofcourse the stats on them can be woirn down and the defense destroyed , but the actual planets themselves , nope,

Ah, I see, different definitions of permanent.

I think that if you spend many bilions naq for planets, they shouldn't just start losing everything, what's the point in having planets then? You'd spend bilions naq for defences and attributes and suddenly you would start losing them for no reason...

Meybe it is not a right place but i have another suggestion - maybe planets die, but you could sell a defence on it - also i recommend that you could repair defences on planet - as you can repair weapons. If you loose planet all your defences go to 0 as now. But i think if you put a lot of naq in planet it is better that you keep defense structures - but they are damaged as weapons are. Its only a suggestion.

An expoding planet isn't much worth it because you'll just be wasting naq to it.
