Ok well firstly, please can someone tell me or direct me to a list of differences between the two (Quantum and main)?

Secondly. Which would you advice I do. I have started one account in each (I read this was allowed) but I don't know if I really want to run two at once.

I am brand new , like seconds day...

Also (sorry for the wrong board) I would like to find a commander, the person who posted about this on a message board i visit in "On the cusp of a black hole" which i guess means is on holiday ?

So a commander would be great, no need to be powerful or rich, just someone to show me the ropes as it were, and possibly give me a little protection from my fellow n00bs :p

Btw my Unit production (UP?) is like ... 10 ? so don't expect any returns for a while (I will of course work on it).

If you help me out I will be Loyal(ish).

I plan to play for at least a month, maybe more.

Ok, as for the differences between Quantum and main:
Quantum is faster. A round lasts 3 months, after which the topscorers are noted in the quantum legends and everything is reset. Every 30 minutes you get 3 times the naquadah and 3 times the turns you would get in normal. Normal lasts indefinitely (as far as we can tell right now) and will offer a chance to ascend to a different server, with new features, new races and who knows what else.

If you choose to stick with main, feel free to tag along with me, I can explain how stuff works and help you advance faster than on your own.

u can also become one of my officers if u like. i have helped many noobs.

if u like a more aggressive kill or be killed atmosphere go for quantum... if u like to work hard and see results over time do main. BTW.. im only in main.

I signed on with Sleipnir ,hey first come first serve
He has been most helpful, I already know what a spy level is ! and that having 40 attack turns does not (neccersarily) mean that I get to attack 40 times! (Hes rich too which is always a plus )

But if anything unexpected happens (like he kicks me out because thousands of naquadah per turn isnt worth a couple of troops per day) then. I'll look you up.

I think I will stick with main for the moment but perhaps put it on hold whilest i try the next wave (? round thingy after the reset) of quantum. So at that point I may be looking for a new commander in that.

no one is a beter commander then me i may not be the highest rank or one with lots of attack i may not be able to defend you from some of these people no wait let me start again i give naqadah to my officers and you will one day become powerful like no wait forget that ummm ok i cant think of anything
