im rank 3000 is there a ball park rank i should raid at. if there is then how much higher or lower than that rank can i raid until i dont see good returns

it is not based on rank it is based on how many untrained units they have out in the open

When raiding with a single turn, you should shoot for 30+ UU before hitting them again with 15 turns. If you hit someone with 15 turns and they return less than 400 UU, you should probably move on to the next target.

The person's rank is less important. You are limited to raiding 10x your rank, so if you're currently 3000 you could raid out to rank 30,000. There are often good raid targets in the 40-50K range but you would need to lower your rank to reach them. You can certainly raid targets from 1-3000 but you're risking hitting a more powerful player in the process and some have nasty tempers.

which indicates he has alot of UU in the open, the number under army and untrained or the number under supers and untrained
