O yes the di vinci code debate!

This book caused a massive fuss with the church, and i thought we should have a fuss here aswell :D

Who agrees more on the books plot than the churches view of events shown in the bible? was jesus married to mary mandelin? Is the holy grail documents and a body?

Post your theories, and we shall debate them. No doubt semper will be in here to pass his judement

pass judgement? :-D

Dan brown himself refuted the theories put forward in his book. If im wrong oh well. lol. i dont beleive in the bible anyway. as far as im concerned its a load of bollocks, and jesus was just a clever con man or an alien. simple as that. (well i could argue it from the other direction, but. wheres the fun, id much prefer to throw slander at religeon then protect it.)

Eh, I'm afraid I never did accept the basic premises, that the Church (Orthodox or Catholic) conspired to destroy evidence about it's theology.

As much as I would like the theory to be true I see no evidence for it.

You could also ask where is the solid evidence that jesus was gods son...some crazy loon said she wasnt knocked up by joseph or whatever, so god MUST HAVE done it...lmao where is the evidence that GOD exists. The Bible is the biggest pile of fiction [text...language, language, language, please don't do it again. Post your opinion but if you wouldn't say it in front of you high school teacher don't say it here-Spacey] known to man. PROOVE to me that god exists and i will take that back!

GOOD LUCK! :-D

the bible was put together like a kid in a pic n mix sweet shop (candy store for our american bros), it was peiced together from the gospals by the 1st church farthers, and many of the original gospals are missing from the bible...including, Mary Magdalene's, and Judas's gospals.
further more, according to Judas-Judas was the favorite disciple (or chosen) of Jesus.

i personaly dont beleive in the church or the bible. reason being, i am greek cypriot (orthodox religeon), and one of the problems i have with the greek orthodox church is tha they have a set price for all the services of the greek church, IE, X amount for a marriage ceremony, X am,ount for a baptisment and so on and so fourth, its like a menu at a resturant or something
:?
so in the end what are we supposed to be beleive?

and if any of you want to find out a little bit more about religeon i sugest you read the books of 'erich von daniken' he makes a lot of sense and is an enjoyable read to boot :-)

Does he have a book dealing with just religion, or does he mix aliens in with all of his books?

he cross refrences all books of realigion with storys that have survived from the times of the great flood/s and gives a diffrent spin on things.
both books are way better than chariots :-)
