Galactic Council Shop

I Was thinking about the ARMY CAP and the Point of IT, and the importance of the NEW players of the game(they r the ones how buy SS and "PAY" the server), and i had this idea.

Galactic Council Shop
will be a place only u can "buy" some itens with Galactic Points[GPs].
Galactic Points will be a new resource in the Game.

The Galactic Council Shop products
Planets: planets size "NORMAL" with 500 defences and 1000 upgrades.
INCOME Planet [10 GPs]
ATTACK/DEFENCE/Covert Planet [15 GPs]
UP Planet [20 GPs]

Resources: just take $$ trades from the market and place here

Pointless Cool Stuff: things that NOT add any power but woude be cool to have.
Ability to Place Special Characteres on the Planets Names. [10 GPs]
Ability to Place Colors on the Planets Names. [20 GPs]
i run out ideas, any1? i'm sure there tons of cool things to place here

Ways to get GPs
Buy with $$, 10 USD = 10 GPs
ABADON a Planet, every time u abadon a planet u get 2 GPs, (why this?, because this upgrade will ADD tons of planets in the GAME so to balance things, a "reward" is given to the ones how let they go)

I actually like that idea. However, people with big motherships would grab planets, then abandon them until they had tons of GP. Keep working!

if the planet isnt urs for a week, u dont get any GP by abandoning

Not tons, 2 per day, that 14 GPs a week, AND any BIG player woude agree on that is near nothing for us a week. and i like the idea of take others planet just to piss they off, DEFEND IT well, or don't get they. :p

Yes This Is A Very Great Idea For many Reasons, the First Would Be That A New Commodity is Being Placed into the Game...Opening The mArket Up A Bit Which Is Quite Stale, Revolving Around 3 Resources, With one Valuable Resource Dominating in Demand...

Also, this Resource Hints At Being Valubale For The Lower Ranked Players Without Bringing About A Mass Flux in power...People Are NOT going to Abandon There 50bil Defended UP Planet For 2Gp's...lol!

The Uses For GP's Will Still Need To be Ellaborated Upon...Maybe They Can Do Something??? Like Generate Fleets Per Turn to A Percentage Of the points or somethin? i don't know...But its a Good iDEA!!!

um... how can you pay for the defence of a planet with your "glory and reputation"?

its a good idea nonetheless, just needs a bit of work IMO to make it easier to work with

how about having a small income of that resource, and you gain a little by abandoning planets, and maybe a lot more for abandoning planets you have owned for more than 1 week...

and that resource could be used to pay for things like:
planet facilities (attack/defense/uu production/naq production/covert)
defenses
size changes (larger/smaller)
bonus changes?

i like this idea :D

maybe we can also add the ability change the type of planet we have, like terraforming it, but the result of it would be random, you can get an up planet or a def or attack or a combo, and you can only perform this once a month using GPs :-D

and add the ability to add ministers/assistants on your planet which can add certain bonus depending on the type of minister you want to place, and the minister can be upgraded using both turns and naq through training programs

just a thought...

intereing idea, but dunno if it would be easy to code... i leave that to you

but yet, it would make the game more complex...
