New Planet type

Pretty simple, if i had a problem with over population and I could move planets into my solar system I would probaly get one that would let me move people on to it. These planets would only be useful to players allready at or near the 100 mill unit mark and would be very very expensive to upgrade. Also if a planet that has over flow population and is taken the people on it would not have time to leave the planet and would be captured by the conquor...they would stay on the planet for 24 hours then if the concquor is below the unit cap they would be intergated into society as workers. This will allow growth at a smaller rate for thoes abouve the cap possibly and free up other planets for new or smaller players.

What? A planet that you can stuff a load of UU in so its easier for some multi thief to steal a whole bunch of units at once? I'm afraid that's going to be too risky. I can already hear the complaints and whining of those who would get a planet with some 20M UU on it stolen by "cheaters, hackers, bullies". I'm not saying I don't like the basic idea, but the consequences are going to be hell.

I'll agree with Sleipnir on this. I also don't see a point why we should make it easier for people who are already at the cap; that's why the plauge exists. Question: How will this help other players that are far below the cap?

perhaps a more interesting sort would be a merc planet or maybe banking planet?

where the merc thingy produces a few random mercs every turn

and the bank planet gives x million extra bank space...


what do you others think of those planets?

That the whole sistem with the ones curently in disposal should be redone first :wink:

How about the option to make a big bomb out of your planet? it will apper as a big att, or def, or income, or up planet but when you attack it it completely wipes out the attacking fleet, and mothership.

The owner would get no benifits from said planet.

Bank space planets would be useless. There is no bank limit right now anyway. Anyone can go over it with a well placed broker. But if that were fixed, I like the idea.

we know anyone (with ss) can go over limit with broker, but for many it is quite hard to have to broker every time they have to bank... but we think it could be useful to have that fixed, then add banking planets...

think how it would be for someone to have like 50 mill lifers/miners, 5 naq planets and 5 bank planets, think how much they could save up...

one advantage with bank planets is that they dont really hurt player too much if stolen, but if one were to loose a 15k up planet, one would be hurt greatly...


thought up another sort of planet, supersoldier planet...
no, doesnt produce supers, but acts as a sort of replacement, so if planet population is 50k, one can have 50k more weapons than regular soldiers... could be useful for the weaker kinds of players, or recently ascended players... but unlike attack or defense planets, these wont be fixed as attack or defense supers, but can be either...
